Visit beautiful Costa Rica for a therapist's retreat focusing on connecting deeper to yourself, your practice and the global healing potential by taking part in our healing process. This 4 night, 5 day retreat will be held on the Rincon Volcano, at the Borinquen Resort & Thermal Spa in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Each day will be organized to include time and space for therapists to trade one to one or multi-hands sessions. On day two, we will venture to the thermal springs at the Rincon National Park and enjoy water assisted sessions. Day 3, we will have time to take a tour as a group or individually. Tour options include waterfall hikes, zip lining, horseback riding, a very long slide through the jungle, and more. Each day will include time to experience the beautiful nature of Costa Rica.
This retreat is planned for you to experience the beauty and nature of the Rincon Volcano area, melding with the wisdom of the elements in the thermal springs and river waters, fresh air, rich flora and fauna, and also some fun, as we explore our healing potential and the ripple effects that it can have on the world. We will be finished with our group time around 4:00 - 5:00 daily to allow time to deeply rest and enjoy your time alone, or together. $1080.00 USD per person including tax. No tips have been included with this price.
$280.00 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking
The remaining $800.00 will need to be paid in full by May 15, 2023
Cancellation Policy:
The booking deposit is non-refundable. The remaining $800.00 is fully refundable until May 15, 2023. Any cancellations after May 15, 2023 will be refunded 50%, $400.00 minus bank fees, including, but not limited to, bank transaction fees and international currency conversions.
Upledger Credits:
This retreat will be considered a Special Study Group and will count towards Mentorship Credits in Category A for 3 hours - receiving treatment from a certified therapist, in the first, second or third 24 hours categories.
Pre-requisite:
All participants must be alumni of the Upledger Institute, have taken SER1 and have the intention of keeping the sessions within the Upledger paradigm.
Lodging & Meals Included:
4 nights lodging in a villa (occupancy for 2 people). For a private room, Please add $85 per night to your total.
Breakfast is a buffet with typical Costa Rican food, and continental breakfast.
Lunch is your choice from the menus at Borinquin, Day 3 will be a buffet at Hotel Guachapelin. Lunch at Laurel on the departure day is not included.
Dinner is your choice from the menus at Borinquin, for your primary dish. Appetizers and alcoholic drinks are not included.
Transportation Included:
-Airport transfers from LIR to the hotel - Morning and afternoon times will be available.
-Hotel transfer from the hotel to the airport (LIR) on Monday.
Departure time after 3:00 is recommended. We may not be able to accommodate a group shuttle otherwise.
Your Host:
My name is Catherine Chavarria, and I am your grateful host for this retreat. I am a Techniques Certified Craniosacral Therapist, study group leader and teaching assistant with the Upledger Institute. I have often lived in remote areas with few craniosacral therapists nearby, making it harder to receive treatments. I have organized this experience to connect through healing specifically using Upledger techniques. I have been traveling to Costa Rica for the past 18 years and have been living on the southern Nicoya Peninsula in Santa Teresa for the past 6 years. My intention is to make this an effortless trip where you can relax and focus on your healing process. I look forward to meeting and healing with all of you.
